Wesley Hill Stage 1

Mount Alexander Shire Council, Castlemaine, VIC

Dale Cohen Architects and Pollen Studio were engaged by Mount Alexander Shire to undertake detailed design, contract documentation & contract administration for Stage 1 Works at Wesley Hill Recreational Reserve in Castlemaine.

Stage 1 comprises of 6 Netball Victoria compliant netball courts and a new netball pavilion. Positioned on what is currently a hillside, Pollen Studio has been instrumental in leading a landscape focused approach towards the ambitions of the project whilst meeting budget expectations. Extensive earthworks and large-scale retaining walls will be required to deliver the vision set out in the master plan. 3 of the new courts will be lit. Existing lower courts will be converted into additional car parking as recommended by the master plan. Visualisation by DCA
